Janet's journey as an artist began in 2010 with exhibitions of her work, culminating in her inaugural solo exhibition titled "Fragile Nature" in October 2023. This exhibition was the result of a year-long project collaborating with the Friends of Fletcher Moss and Didsbury Parsonage. Through this project, Janet developed 17 casts from the gardens, creating an immersive experience that explored the emotions of life intertwined with the symbolic meanings of plants.

Through her art, Janet invites viewers to pause and reflect on the beauty and fragility of the natural world, encouraging a deeper connection to the environment and a renewed sense of awe for the wonders of botanical diversity.
